THE ARTIST:

I don't care what Al makes, because I know for a fact that whatever it is,you can always be ensured that it's not only going to be made right, but you will always get the highest quality materials. He's one of my personal favorites & ranks high with me when it comes down to workmanship & you can never go wrong with anything he makes!

He is a 'true' artist who is so skilled at what he does & is one that knows what he's doing & why he's doing it..Never do you have to question how long he's has been at it,because you will see it. All you need to do is turn the piece over to see his hallmark to know you will be getting a 'quality/well made' piece of jewelry. His trained eye for form & balance can be witnessed throughout anything he makes!

He works in both gold & sterling & can make anything you put in front of him..He can take it from the most traditional,to contemporary.

THE PENDANT:

Made with an vibrant, almost lime green cut of Sonoran turquoise that is highlighted by Al's incredible metal work..The overall piece is very traditional in style & has a undeniable style known to Navajo jewelry. Each part of the sterling work is all hand fabricated, from the serrated bezel that the stone sits in,to the deeply stamped outer frame, to the little conchos at the bottom of the pendant,to the bale!

Its not over the top in size, nor is it too dainty..It has the perfect size for one who just wants to say more with less, while wearing a well made Navajo pendant.Perfect for the person who loves it simple!

The bale is just over 1/2" (13.5 mm) & is shown with a 12.5 mm Navajo Pearl necklace..I do want to mention that even though it has a 13.5 mm bale opening, you want to go no greater than the 12.5 mm necklace so it can move on the necklace & 'breathe'..The length of necklace it is photographed I personally think is a perfect length with comparson to it's size & will look best when worn in the decolletage area.
