Taxco Designer Maria Belen ~ Lapis Filigree "ARRACADA" 925 Earrings
Taxco Designer Maria Belen ~ Lapis Filigree "ARRACADA" 925 Earrings
Made with the undeniable look of Mexico, the “Arracada” style earring is known to Oaxaca & is a widely recognized filigree earring. They are known for their ‘crescent shape..
Filigree is a time consuming process that many Filigree artists have dropped out from doing, because the time & the money the artist gets,do not balance.
These are made with lots of twisted oxidized sterling wire where the wire is pulled to a super fine wire before the process begins, which makes them very wearable..The base is all hand made for the hand sewn lapis beads to sit in.Outside these sewn beads the wire is given a ‘diamond cut’ technique for a tad of faceted sparkle!
These are obviously made by a Filigree master & each circular form is perfectly round & helps to give these their perfectly made look!.Made with little 2 mm beads of Lapis & are very wearable because of the lacy filigree work.Shepherds hook wire back with latch for safety.
Perfect for the woman who loves ‘All things Mexico” & are well worn with a Oaxaca/Guatemalan textile wardrobe, but can look as elegant with a sexy designer dress!
