THE NECKLACE:
This is made where Mary cut each & every stone/shell by hand to create this unique looking necklace that has a overall richness that's done with a purple/turquoise theme Charoite & Kingman Turquoise. Charoite is a stone that comes from Russia & is known for it's light to medium dark purple colors that have these incredible shimmery swirling patterns that actually gives it,it's identity..Because of Charoite's color, some may think that they are Amethyst at 1st glance,but it's the shimmer these stones have that lets you know that they're Charoite.

Rather than Mary's usual way of "hand rolling" the material to make her hand made beads,each of the beads were created by hand,but with trying a new technique.What she did was cut the Charoite into exact size squares, then drilled the holes & then tumbled them to create their roundness! In order to get each of these beads to match perfectly in size,each square has to be precise in size.In an alternating pattern are small disks of Kingman turquoise until you reach the back,where then,you have a 3" solid layout of Kingman(per side) that takes you to the hook & eye closure.

THE PENDANT:
The pendant is designed with colors that compliment the colors within the necklace..It's made with her 'signature' Conus Shell where when she slices into the shell,helps her to create these whimsical designs & many times,it's this shell & the way she uses them in the design, that lets you know whose work it is!(It's like her hallmark!) The floral portion is mosaic inlaid with a pressed mixture of purple Spiny Oyster,turquoise & copper,so you get this shimmery copper metallic look when the light hits it! This is mosaic inlaid atop of black jet.The pendant is non-removable.

Because each piece is considered "ART", every piece is "One-of -a Kind"!!! So you will be the only one with this particular necklace!
