THE NECKLACE:

I found this necklace of Mary's to be a little different from what I normally carry of her's..While still having her signature colorful mosaic inlay work, the overall tone of the necklace is brought down by using more creamy to peachy colored Melon shell that then has added hints of oranges(Spiny Oyster shell) ,clay colored pipestone & then some added blue turquoise & a muddy green Serpentine..These colors give it a very New Mexico feel!l

The non detachable drop is made with a colorful outline of just about everything Mary had on hand,while from the center out,is made with the yellow portion of the Abalone shell & then she added these little tiny disks of pink Rhodonite,followed by bone! All these materials are then mosaic inlaid atop of black jet.

I see this as being an 'all season' necklace,that will pair well with just about anything,but especially with a creamy to brown colored wardrobe!The wonderful thing about owning Mary's jewelry is for the fact that you can pair ANY of her pieces together, regardless that they will not be the same,because it’s the ‘LOOK’ that matches!

You can't go wrong with anything you get of Mary's,as well as being a sure guarantee that NO ONE will have your piece,since no 2 are alike!!! These are pieces of 'WEARABLE ART' & can be treasured & passed on for a lifetime!

A NOTE:

**I want to mention that since Covid,material vendors no longer can go to the Pueblo to sell to the artisans like they always have..The artists would rarely have to leave,since the vendors would go right to the Pueblo..Now that's not the case..Because of this,it is getting harder for Mary to find good quality materials to work with & sometimes she has to travel miles just to get them & has had to pay higher prices just to keep the business going..So with this said,she has had to increase her pricing,since materials now are costing her more.**
