ABOUT THE ARTIST:
In comparison to some 'veteran' Navajo metalsmith's, Geneva is a relatively young silversmith who learned the art of metalsmithing from her mother "Genevieve Apachito'..She is a New Mexico native who comes from Socorro,NM & continued being raised in Socorro county, in the town of Alamo,NM. Regardless of age or how long she has been creating jewelry,it’s the fact of how easy it comes to her, which is obvious in everything she makes.
THE EARRINGS:
Making this type of work look all too easy, it isn't,,It's a tedious & time consuming process, where each of these beads were hand melted one by one & then placed atop of sheet sterling that has a oxidized finishing.. The backside of the earrings have a contemporary mirror polished finishing.
Being these are all sterling, you have an abundance of versatility with these since they'll go with just about anything you pair them with! You can wear them when you do a day of all sterling, a day when you're wearing colored stone jewelry, you can also pair them with oxidized OR contemporary finished jewelry! And lastly, they're the perfect answer when you're looking to wear something with your Navajo Pearl necklaces! That's WHY they make the best 'go-to' earring!!!
**If you zoom in on the last 2 photos, you'll see where I also have this style in a heart & a cross shape. I also carry pendants/Rings to match! So be sure to watch out for those! Would make a great gift!

In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, photos can tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified & exaggerated than in actuality. Close up's make the item look so large & then you get it in hand & you are shocked since the item is much smaller than how they looked in the photos..So to get an accurate idea of how big these are, either zoom in on photo 2 or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
