Federico Jimenez- 20 Stone MANASSA Turquoise Row Cuff with Unbelievably Gorgeous Golden Yellow Matrix! For 6-5/8" Wrist
ABOUT THE KING MANASSA MINE:
Originally called the Lickskillet Mine, the Manassa Turquoise mine was one of the first Turquoise deposits found in Colorado, as well as in the Southwest. The Manassa mine is so old that it was believed to 1st. be mined by the Anasazi Natives that lived in the area centuries & centuries ago.
Producing some of THE most amazing colors, which are known for its teal blue-greens to green color, this turquoise can appear in color that’s very similar to the turquoise colors that we see coming out of our Nevada mines. It produces some of the most gorgeous color golden yellow or brown matrix patterns, which runs primarily in veins hosted by a beautiful golden brown hard rock. It takes a skilled lapidarian to actually get the turquoise out of the rock.
These days it’s not that easy to get, but when available, it is a true favorite of gold and silversmiths throughout the southwest & personally, this turquoise is SO beautiful that it looks absolutely stunning when set in gold, simply because of it’s color & it’s signature golden yellow matrix color that pops against gold! But no matter the metal choice, this particular turquoise is one that would look good in anything you put it in! The Manassa mine is sitting stable since most of the Colorado Turquoise mines are not operational at this time.
THE CUFF:
In the spotlight, are some of the prettiest turquoise cuts you’ll ever lay your eyes on!! And when you get this cuff in hand, you will then realize as to ‘why’ this mine is a favorite amongst not only artists, but buyers as well!! The matrix is breathtakingly gorgeous & has this magnificent bright golden yellow color. (See photos) Each one of these stones were cut by a skilled lapidarian of Federico’s, who did an amazing job at pulling out the best areas from the larger rock they started with!
Placed beautifully along a 3/8” width shank, are 20 precisely hand cut square/tile stones, where each & every cut has it’s own personality & one of a kind character. The color I would say is on the blue side that has this sort of a overall teal color. This cuff would be perfect worn solo or would be perfect to stack other cuffs with, since it has straight perimeter lines!
SIZING:
Because of the design, this cannot be adjusted, so it's of extreme importance that you know your wrist size and what gap opening you need for it to comfortably fit over the arm. It is made for a average wrist size, but a wrist that is not 'fleshy' & doesn't need a larger gap opening. It has a 1-1/8” gap opening, so it’s meant to fit a somewhat skinnier wrist. If you are unsure of your wrist size,I suggest you click this link: "How To Fit A Cuff" and also I suggest you copy/paste the YouTube link I have there, that shows the right way you should put a cuff on! If you are not sure of your size, please go over this before purchasing & or contact me.
