SLEEPING BEAUTY TURQUOISE:

Made with THE most drop dead gorgeous blue that only the now closed, Sleeping Beauty mine can produce..The mine has now been closed for roughly 5 years & since closing ,has only made that many more buyers thirsty for anything that is made with it. Unfortunately the higher qualities are now scarce & many of the lower qualities are too soft & chalky, that they need stabilization in order to give it some hardness so it can be cut. These are made with top notch, natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise!

THE CUFF:

These cuffs are designed in a skinny row style that's made with evenly sized square 'tile' cuts that follow the full entirety of the 3/8" width shank. One of the main things you should know & definitely deserves appreciation, is for the precise lapidary work that went into making it.

The cuts in both the 6-3/8” (20 cuts) & the 6-5/8” (21 cuts) were literally cut and shaped one by one from the larger rock of turquoise & then cut into small squares.. Yes, it would be fast & simple to take the easy route out & buy 'pre-cut'- industry purchased' cuts from a stone vendor, but that actually takes away the beauty of it having it's "Artisan-Hand Made" factor. With these, the lapidarian's time was well spent making sure each stone is mathematically the same size, has the same beveling,etc.,which gives them their uniform appeal.

Because of the design, these cannot be adjusted, so it's of extreme importance that you know your wrist size and what gap opening you need for it to comfortably fit over the arm. They are made for a small/skinny wrist size, but a wrist that is not 'fleshy' & doesn't need a larger gap opening. Both have the same 7/8” gap opening, so they’re meant to fit a somewhat skinnier wrist.This small of a gap also helps it from turning on the arm.
