In this business there are 2 ways you get your stones.. You either buy them already cut or you cut them yourself & what I find impressive with this particular bangle, is knowing that each one of these cuts were cut "Free Hand" without the use of calipers & were cut by 'eye and feel'. Normally artists will take the 'quick route' & purchase already cut perfectly smooth- perfectly sized cabochons to put in their designs, but with these, everything was done with the power of the hand where the lapidarian started from the whole rock & then cut and shaped each one of these cuts!! There is no comparison when you consider the workmanship & the time involved to make this from beginning to end. This is the beauty of 'artisan' made jewelry!
What I find fascinating about these particular Kingman turquoise cuts, is not only for their bright blue color, but check out the matrix in these! The matrix goes from these bright golden yellows to golden browns with hints of red/brown tones in some! The blue reminds me of Sleeping Beauty turquoise & are quite vivid! The lapidary work is outstanding & the lapidarian gave each cut a wonderful professional finished look. They are laid in a channel laid pattern that extend to the 3/8" width of the shank.
*This is made to fit from a larger medium to large size hand/wrist. Bangles are measured different than other style bracelets & have to go over the widest part of the hand to fit,which would be where the upper thumb bone is & then across.* I have a tiny,tiny wrist & when I put this on,it falls to the top of my hand,but doesn't want to fall off.
IMPORTANT:
What I suggest is, if you have bangle on hand that fits you well, you want to measure it by laying it flat on top of a paper measuring tape & starting on say the 1" line, you will then see where it measures from & to (east to west) The 'interior' part is what you want to pay attention to, not the outer most part. Then compare it to my **'Interior across measurement'**.(See photo 7)

OUTER CIRCUMFERENECE: 9-1/4"(This measurement was taken by taking a paper tape measure-Then starting at one stone and ending at the end of the next stone from where I started.. Since it was difficult measuring the circumference along the inside, I had to measure over the stones on the exterior, so this measurement is approximate, but close.
