Known for his cross jewelry & fully beaded cuffs, I have admit that we are WOW'd by these cuffs we just got in by Navajo artisan-Ronnie Willie!
There's nothing more stunning on the wrist than a well made all sterling cuff & especially one that literally screams Navajo when you see it!! It's pretty obvious that nothing but love & time went into making it!
This is made with 10 gauge sterling sheet which means that this is an extremely heavy & durable piece that also makes this a non-adjustable cuff. You have to be a pro to pound through this heavy of gauge like Ronnie did, especially when you figure that with each strike of the hammer, the design in the metal must be spot on, otherwise it's a mess!, otherwise it's a mess!
He gave these a dual texture, dual finishing, with the center designed in a rich darkened oxidized finishing that has been 'roughed' up a bit,while the outer edges & all the crosses are lightly oxidized.. The non-textured crosses sit raised above the base & span the entire length of the cuff & go all the way to the terminals.
If these would accommodate the right wrist size, they would make a great “HIS & HERS” set!!!
