ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Only 32 years old & asked for by name, Tyler has made quite the name for himself in the Native American jewelry industry.. Regardless of the amount of artisans out there, Tyler's work stands apart from others, since he is producing some phenomenal looking cluster work in todays market..

As a teen, Tyler could not escape the art of making jewelry, since he happens to be the son of the late Navajo artist, "DEAN BROWN".. Dean taught the young Tyler the art of making traditional Navajo jewelry where he taught him 1st with earrings, where he had him working with super light gauge 32 gauge sterling, so if there were many mistakes(Which there were!) it wouldn't be too, too costly.

Tyler comes from a long list of well known "Navajo Royalty" with just a few of his uncles being Hemerson Brown, Anthony Skeets & Lee Charley. His cousin is Mathew Charley & the late KIRK SMITH was a 2nd uncle.. He LOVES working with vivid colored materials & is always working on trying to come up with new ways to create different style cluster pieces, which is one of his favorite style's that he loves making!

THE CUFF:

This is made for a very hard to find-super tiny 5-5/8"wrist size. Those of us who have a very tiny wrist,know then how hard it is to find a good looking cuff to fit, to where we are left feeling excluded & many times left out of the picture..So to solve this issue, I had Tyler make his beautiful cluster cuffs that are made for a larger wrist size, but in a smaller version!

This particular Russian Charoite cuff has a deep lavender color that has it's signature shimmery pearly essence that can be seen throughout. What gives this it's wow factor is not only because of it's color, but the size stones Tyler used, which are nice & chunky, so it has a real hearty feel to it!

It's designed with 3 separate plates, where the 2-3/8" tall center has a large 'pillow' cut & is surrounded by high domed chunky round cuts.The sides are a circular cluster & are made with smaller round cuts. All of these cuts are cut to perfection by an obvious lapidarian professional that gave each cut their smooth beveled feel.
