One thing this cuff offers, is a TON of presence!
With size comes weight & Guy didn't go lightly on both the metal AND the turquoise with this massively huge cuff! I think a good chunk of the mine is in this one cuff & is made with 10 gauge sterling..If your not sure what that means,it means it is non-destructible,thick & Heavy! It's made with almost a 1/2 pound of sterling! (7 ounces)
It has that true Santa Fe "Over the Top-Gigantically Bold" style,that you only find here in Santa Fe & parts of the SW!
The focus is not only on it's overall colossal size,but the vibrancy that the Kingman has,which has a close resemblance to Birdseye Kingman, where you have spotty colors that go from light brilliant sky blues to deeper richer blues.In the matrix it has fine specks of pyrite.The size of the turquoise is just under the width of the cuff (2-1/2")
Just under the stone & sitting atop of the shank are beads of sterling, that graduate in size & follow the oval form of the stone.Personally,these add so much to the look,but in no way takes away from the focus,but actually accentuates it.
The shank is done in a traditional Navajo style that is fully tooled by hand & has a 'vintage revival' finishing.. It given the right balance of oxidation that really brings out the blue even more & each compliment the other with contrast!
This is a cuff that has to fit(Both with the interior & the gap) since you cannot adjust it because of the gauge it's made with.And even though you may have a 6-3/4" wrist(which this is),another thing that needs to be taken into consideration is the width & where it will sit on the arm.So this area of the arm is just as important when it comes to fitting a cuff.(You may want to measure this area of your arm as well--Please read "How To Fit A Cuff “ if your unsure & please don't hesitate asking for my help!
