This oversized Butterfly is designed in a noticeably wide 4-1/8" width & is made with chunky choice cuts of premium-top notch Spiny Oyster shell that has a eye opening vibrancy! This is not a piece that can easily be overlooked by anyone who see's it!
Designed with various sized pear/tear drop & triangular shaped Spiny Oyster shell that do nothing but contribute to it's jumbo size & not only is it the color of the oyster shell that contributes to it's look, but what makes this equally attractive, are all those little tiny 3 mm-uniform sized cuts of green turquoise that act as a halo that outline the oyster shell.. Unless you've been there, it's may be hard to comprehend what it takes to set this size & amount & is something that takes a lot of skill, patience & time! When these 2 colors are put side by side, really make for a very striking color combo, that only accentuates & enhances the other.
I am showing this with a 10.5 mm-24" authentic Navajo pearl necklace by Navajo Michelle Jameson..It has a shepherds hook to hang beads on & is only opened so much. The hook can be opened more, if you have a bigger bead size you want to wear this with..(You can do this with needle nose pliers (gently & a little at a time) if you have skill & with respect to the metal or by any reputable jeweler)
A PERSONAL SUGGESTION:
From my professional point of view, these larger sized pendants look better worn with at least a 24"-30" length necklace ,since you want to 'pull' them away from the neckline.. These do not look as well with shorter 18" length's. But of course you do what you feel is best, since you know yourself better than anyone..This is just my opinion & I can only speak with my many years of experience in the business.
