It's not everyday you see necklaces like this that are done in such a "Grandeur" way! It's a breathtaking necklace that's made for the connoisseur who loves their turquoise jewelry to be on the extremely bold,finer side,as well as loving to own such a piece that no one else will have!
This necklace is designed with THE prettiest blue Morenci turquoise that come from Larry Cooley’s limited collection of turquoise,with all the cuts being very uniform in color & besides the overwhelming size of the necklace,the uniform color is what also helps to give it the striking look it has.The turquoise is bright, vivid,but has almost a milky blue color. Some of the rocks have white quartz in them,along with pyrite, but over all there is not much matrix.
This hefty piece is designed with 12 panels (6 per side) that slightly graduate down in size as they get to the back.The 'faces' alone are huge & have a good amount of carat weight per section.Each are adorned with chunky clusters of stones atop their head.The Naja crescent shape center piece is wide & tall..
The free form cuts are bezel set onto a grand amount of sterling & is quite heavy as you would imagine with a piece this size,with this big of stones..(see weights below)
It is made in a true Santa Fe/Texas size & is perfect for the person who loves loves flaunting some of the best there is by Federico, while maintaining a very upscale southwestern & very showy statement edginess!
