When the name "Federico" comes to mind, we all may think something different,but one thing most of us can agree on however is he's about the only southwestern/international designer that gives "Statement Jewelry" new meaning & takes the phrase to a whole other level! No, he's not the one if you want just a little delicate one stone design, but rather is known for creating some of THE most "massively huge-larger than life-over the top' pieces, that are made with a super classy & very sophisticated aesthetic & are always done in fine taste. THE NECKLACE
Impeccably made, this is designed with an abundant amount of chunky sized oval cuts of fiery colored-premium quality Spiny Oyster shell that are all evenly matching in size which contributes to the uniform & well balanced look it has. There are 9 cuts per side in the neckline (18) & in the cross these same shaped/sized cuts create the 5-3/4" X 4" cross drop that have round cuts that fill in around the center, along with linear cuts shooting off at the bottom. I have no idea how many shells it took to make this & all I know is there's ALOT!
Each are bezel set atop of a HEFTY amount of sterling which contributes to the necklace's weight & is finished in a contemporary mirror polished finishing ,giving the necklace it's contemporary look. (Please pay attention to the weight before purchasing please!! -See below under "INFO")
This is one SERIOUS statement necklace & if you want to have 'all eyes on you', this is definitely an attention grabber! This is Federico at his finest & is the perfect piece for any high end Texas/Santa Fe event! (But is not limited to!) The color will look great worn all year round,but especially in the summer when we love wearing lots of color!
