DESCRIPTION:

Cluster work has long been associated with the Zuni people,but this Navajo artist takes this impeccable technique and artistic eye by selecting only the best in Lapis & incorporating these stones & laying them into a very eye catching cluster pattern.

At the top is a round disk shape of natural, royal blue lapis that has the gold pyrite markings that tell you this is some of the best of Lapis..On the same sheet,she placed various shapes,from elongated ovals,tear drop cuts & rounds that are secured in their sterling silver bezels.Anchored from this main section are 3 tear drop dangles that give the earring the movement & finalize the striking design!

Here’s the best part: Unlike others who buy their own stones that are already cut,the Hale’s do their own lapidary work & cut each & every stone you see in their jewelry! This is the beauty of their work is for the fact that they take us back to a time when there weren’t any jewelry supply stores & everything was done & finished BY HAND! They go that extra mile by taking the much needed time to ensure you will only get the best available in the industry..This is something to be appreciated!

They are not ‘Over the Top’ in size,nor weight & will go beautifully with just about anything you pair them with!

CLARISSA HALE

Navajo artisan Clarissa Hale is probably one of the most impressive jeweler's I work with.There isn't much you can't ask her to do or put in front of her, that she can't make & make it beyond perfect!! Making jewelry is in Clarissa's DNA by being taught & influenced by her Mom & Dad ALICE & DAVID LISTER, (who are also some of the most reputable in the industry!!) Clarissa is a jeweler who 'get's it".. She is the epitome of a 'true' artist who definitely knows what she's doing & WHY she is doing it!!

Clarissa has been designing & making jewelry since the age of 13 & It was either playing out in the yard for Clarissa or working inside helping Mom..Good thing for the industry, she chose working inside!
