Navajo artisan Clarissa Hale is probably one of the most impressive jeweler's I work with.There isn't much you can't ask her to do or put in front of her, that she can't make & make it beyond perfect!! Making jewelry is in Clarissa's DNA by being taught & influenced by her Mom & Dad ALICE & DAVID LISTER, (who are also some of the most reputable in the industry!!) Clarissa is a jeweler who 'get's it".. She is the epitome of a 'true' artist who definitely knows what she's doing & WHY she is doing it!!

Clarissa has been designing & making jewelry since the age of 13 & It was either playing out in the yard for Clarissa or working inside helping Mom..Good thing for the industry, she chose working inside!

VERNON HALE: Vernon Hale jr.is the son of the late Vernon Hale Sr. & Sadie Hale of Oak Springs,AZ.In the summer of 2001 Vernon was welding a 8ft. Kachina out of sheets of metal,when father in law David Lister,told him that welding was similar to making jewelry out of silver.That sparked an interest in Vernon making jewelry & soon after"V & C Hale" then was created!
