Made exclusively for Plata de Santa Fe Jewelry,these are made by Navajo husband & wife duo "Clarissa & Vernon Hale, who are some of the most impressive Navajo artists that I work with & are considered "Old School" for the fact that literally everything is done BY hand.For example,when other artists are buying already made materials & already cut stones for their jewelry designs,this couple makes everything themselves & this couple's stones, they will buy the whole rock that they then cut down to size,shape & then polish each.And even though it's extremely time consuming,this is a valuable asset to have,especially when you want a specific size or shape!

Maybe they chose this path to do everything by hand,for the fact that they both are descendants that come from a long line of Navajo jewelers who learned to make jewelry before we depended on jewelry suppliers for our materials.Clarissa just happens to be the daughter of the famed "ALICE & DAVID LISTER" & it was from them that she learned. But it's pretty obvious in Clarissa's work,that it was her 'calling' that she was born to do..Clarissa is a artist that not only knows the "what's" of what she's doing, but the "why's" of why she's doing it.The beauty of their work is that everything will be one of a kind & made well.Their work is something that is not only impressive,but needs to be appreciated.

Good size,large Lapis cluster earrings are something we don't always see in the industry & I am proud to finally bring some "Rockstar" style ones to you!These are showy & have such a sophisticated statement presence about them..

I previously posted this style in a earlier posting & through communicating with Clarissa,we thought we would take that same style to another level & add some cool dangles to them..So these now come with fringey dangles!

Made in a tiered cluster style for effortless movement,these are made with a series of 4 different shapes that are put together to create their fantastic look! The tops are made of squares & round cabs & are the anchor for the diamond shape cluster bottom.The bottoms are designed with a large round disk size that sits at the head & is followed by a huge triangle cut that is framed by tear drop & round cluster cuts..Fringy dangles follow the triangular form for the "V" shape perimeter.
