This is designed with some of my favorite overseas turquoise that comes out of Hubei China. (Don’t let the latter confuse you with “Made in China”) I have witnessed over the years, some of the best looking turquoise that is derived from this area & I must say, that some of it looks very similar to what comes out of our better USA mines. Like Persia, turquoise has been mined in China for over 2000 years, where many pieces of art and carvings were made during the earliest dynasties. Much of it has distinct thick black matrix patterns & can range in color from various blue hues, to various greens, to teal blues,to teal greens.

The cuff is entirely made with square cuts & oval cuts, except for the large rectangular center cut & on the rows 2nd in from the gap that have some round cuts.. The area on the sides where there is a 4 stone layout, gives this area a 1/4” (1.50”) more width than the rest.(1.25”) And it’s also these 4 vertically laid stones that have the most matrix compared to the rest. (See photos 7 & 12)

Because the cuff is fully covered from end to end, really gives this a phenomenal, very concentrated look when it’s being worn, since the stones are tightly packed in there! So your wrist will literally be covered in turquoise! The stones are soldered atop of heavy gauge sterling that has a contemporary finishing.(As opposed to an oxidized finishing)

Because of the design, this cannot be adjusted, so it's of extreme importance that you know your wrist size and what gap opening works best for it to comfortably fit over the arm. It is made for a wider, larger wrist size, (Average medium to large size wrist) but also for a wrist that needs a little wider gap opening. .
