Pre- Eagle 1940'S Vintage Mexican - Onyx Filigree Sterling Panel Bracelet
Pre- Eagle 1940'S Vintage Mexican - Onyx Filigree Sterling Panel Bracelet
This design is very much in the style of what Mexico City Plateria “FARFAN” was doing back in the 40’s..
Made up of 3 rectangular shaped panels that display the fine lacy like filigree wire, along with rectangular shaped cuts of onyx. The design is held in with a window like border of flattened sterling wire, that keeps it all secure.Sterling beads are used as accents & give this bracelet it’s vintage Mexican appeal. The panels bend, based on the hinged sections.Has a cutter pin closure for security.
Because of this being made with a ‘airy’ filigree design & the lack of sterling in between, makes it more light weight.
Would be a great addition to any Mexican vintage jewelry collection & especially when worn with a black wardrobe & lots of sterling!
