Warren Nieto doesn't do just traditional Pueblo Jewelry that gives you just 'the look' ,but something that separates him from the rest,is for the fact that his generally will have "Symbolic meanings" put into them as if a story is being told of Pueblo life through a mosaic painting done in stones & shells.

I have to admit, he has to be one of the most artistic artists when it comes to creating the best Thunderbird Bolo's in a way you just don't see & one would be right to say, he takes this signature bird of the southwest to a whole new level of beauty! There's nothing else that comes to mind, but to say his bolos are some of the best-some of the most fabulous piece's of Pueblo mosaic art! This is one reason why his Bolos are one of the hottest things in demand!!

THE THUNDERBIRD:

From the bird to it's matching tips, the obvious love & time that was poured into this can't be denied, when you think about how all the material's he chose to use, were cut,shaped & then laid by the hands of Warren to create this piece of art!

Made of ultra shimmery white Mother of Pearl & Kingman turquoise,the bird is artistically created where his head & beak are made of MOP & looking more like "Angel Wings", the shoulders of the bird are designed with symbolic Pueblo "Rain Clouds" of Mother of Pearl, which are important in Pueblo life & are especially needed for crops of corn which are essential to the Puebloan people.

Looking like he's wearing of shirt of turquoise that is outlined in shell, these little "bubble" looking oval cuts are mosaic inlaid with Kingman turquoise, then the bird is finalized at the bottom with triangular cuts of the same. All the materials are mosaic inlaid atop of black jet.

THE TIPS:

Warrens tips have to be the best! The 3/8" thick tips are made to match the bird & are as much of a piece of art as the Thunderbird! The are nice & thick, with the material being mosaic inlaid atop of black jet (Fossilized Coal). The art is held onto a 4 mm black bolo strap & comes with an adjustable clasp,so you can wear this high or low! (See last photo)
