ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Bobby Johnson is from Church Rock, New Mexico in the heart of the Navajo reservation.. He was born in the summer of 1952 and is native Navajo. He began to silversmith in the early 70’s, learning from his family. Bobby is looked up to by his brothers and sisters, who are all expert silversmiths themselves.Coming up in this time when quality natural turquoise was more available,it's hard for people like Bobby who came out of that era,to use anything less than the best turquoise there is in today's market. His love for silver and turquoise led him to choose this as his life time path and can proudly say he is a proud silversmith!

DESCRIPTION:

Overly massive & made with a authentic Navajo look,this ring is so large that a pilot can see it from the air! it is made with all the look Santa Fe has to offer & is designed with a bold,statement style appearance!! There is absolutely nothing dainty about this & that is the beauty of it!!

Bobby hand picked the greenest Royston turquoise there is & is more of a "Forest green" in color.The large center stone has caramel colored golden matrix & giving "the turquoise 'character'"is truly an understatement! A cluster of evenly sized 10 mm ovals frame the center & are well matched in color & the look is uniform.The rocks are bezel set atop of a vintage style matte finish,so there will be no need to polish!!

This is a super weighty ring & there is just about as much weight from the sterling as there is in the amount & size of the turquoise!!
