ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Only 32 years old & asked for by name, Tyler has made quite the name for himself in the Native American jewelry industry.. Regardless of the amount of artisans out there, Tyler's work stands apart from others, since he is producing some phenomenal looking cluster work in todays market..

As a teen, Tyler could not escape the art of making jewelry, since he happens to be the son of the late Navajo artist, "DEAN BROWN".. Dean taught the young Tyler the art of making traditional Navajo jewelry where he taught him 1st with earrings, where he had him working with super light gauge 32 gauge sterling, so if there were many mistakes(Which there were!) it wouldn't be too, too costly.

Tyler comes from a long list of well known "Navajo Royalty" with just a few of his uncles being Hemerson Brown, Anthony Skeets & Lee Charley. His cousin is Mathew Charley & the late KIRK SMITH was a 2nd uncle.. He LOVES working with vivid colored materials & is always working on trying to come up with new ways to create different style cluster pieces, which is one of his favorite style's that he loves making!

THE RING:
Impeccably made with a sweet Navajo ambiance, this ring is made with vibrant cuts from the orange spiny oyster shell.. I believe what makes this ring stand apart from your everyday average looking cluster ring, is not only in the cuts Tyler used, but it's where & how he laid them! And by playing with different sizes, various shapes & then laying them in patterns outside the typical normal cluster style, makes a world of difference in appeal!

While the 3 horizontally laid elongated oval cuts fill the center, the smaller fat cuts that act as a halo for the center & give the ring additional height & width. All the cuts are uniform in size & color & have a rusty like orange color in each. The design is finalized by adding lots of sterling beads & tiny sterling conchos that alternate between each stone.(See photos)

The cluster sits atop of lightly oxidized platform & shank & the shank is presently set at a size 7-3/4.. Because the one end is not soldered to the base, allows it to be adjustable. I can go up a 1/2 size to 2,but would prefer you taking it to a reputable jeweler to go down & make it smaller... (See photo 9)

*PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try my hardest to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color, just so you're not shocked, nor disappointed when you get the piece. I find orange however is the toughest color to photograph to achieve an accurate-true coloring, since I don't want them to be too vibrant or any less vibrant! Photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (orange's and green's) can come up a little more vivid,so please take this into consideration. I photographed these in front of 2 different colored backdrops, so please go through all photos to see ANY variation.

To give you close up photos, pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. .So to get an accurate idea of how big this is,please either check it out on the hand to get a rough idea (photos 2 & 3 ) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements
