ABOUT THE ARTIST:
In comparison to some 'veteran' Navajo metalsmith's, Geneva is a relatively young silversmith who learned the art of metalsmithing from her mother "Genevieve Apachito'..She is a New Mexico native who comes from Socorro,NM & continued being raised in Socorro county, in the town of Alamo,NM. Regardless of age or how long she has been creating jewelry,it’s the fact of how easy it comes to her, which is obvious in everything she makes.

THE RING:
Emulating a style known to Navajo artist RONNIE WILLIE", this pint sized ring is made in a understated size & is the perfect for those who love their Native American/Southwestern jewelry on the smaller side.
Made in a 1" x 1" "Cross within a Cross" design & even though the overall cross itself is small, this is a tedious & time consuming process to make. Each of these beads Geneva melted down the sterling to form each bead & then one by one they are placed atop of sheet sterling that has a oxidized finishing.. The backside & shank has a contemporary mirror polished finishing. The face sites on a straight shank that has a "tri split" as it nears the underside of cross.
**In photo 6,you'll see that this has a matching pendant! (In a separate listing under "Pendants" ) One looks great as is,but both look better when worn together! ! Makes the perfect gift for just about any age and or gender! Pairs well with strands of oxidized Navajo Pearl necklaces!
In photo 7, you'll find I carry this in a rectangular shape pendant & actually match’s the ring,but just not the same shape. If you like a little more elegance,I do have listed a rectangular shaped pendant & ring that comes with pearls!! (Photos 8 & 9) Both of the latter are under my “Ring & “Pendant listings)
