Compared to your average ring, this one has a hefty amount of sterling that the shell & pearls are bezel set atop of. The sterling is finished in a contemporary finishing.

THE ADJUSTABLE BYPASS SHANK:

Based on the placement of the shank,there are 2 ways you can wear this ring based on where the shank sits on the back. If you look at photos 9 & 10,you'll notice that the shank is NOT placed in the middle,but rather towards the one end.

If you wear the ring where the shank sits closer to the hand,it makes the ring extend down towards the fingernails & with some who have shorter finger length's,it will cover most of the finger if you wear it like this(see photo 3)..Now if you turn it around to where the shank sits away from the hand,the ring then will sit longer toward the top of the hand & so therefore your fingers will then be seen & you'll be able to work with them more!.(See photo 2)

**With these bypass shanks,I find it's easier going up in size,than down,so if you need me to put this on the ring mandrel & stretch it a size or a size & a 1/2 (No more than) ,please let me know at time of purchasing-If you need it brought down a size or so,I recommend you do this or take it to a reputable jeweler.**
