ABOUT THE ARTIST:
In comparison to some 'veteran' Navajo metalsmith's, Geneva is a relatively young silversmith who learned the art of metalsmithing from her mother "Genevieve Apachito'..She is a New Mexico native who comes from Socorro,NM & continued being raised in Socorro county, in the town of Alamo,NM. Regardless of age or how long she has been creating jewelry,it’s the fact of how easy it comes to her, which is obvious in everything she makes.

THE PENDANT:
Made with a "Cross within a Heart" design where each of these beads are made with a tedious process where Geneva melted down the sterling to form each bead & then one by one they are placed atop of an oxidized finished sterling & surround the 3 crosses that have a more brighter finishing.. The bale & backside of the pendant has a contemporary mirror polished finishing.

The bale opening has about a 3/8" opening & will fit anything that has a 8 mm diameter or smaller. Use a regular sterling chain or a strand of sterling beads,but be aware that the smaller bead (or chain) the more it can move & breathe on the necklace. With the pendant's finishing,you can use something that has a mirror finishing OR oxidized.. But what would also look cool, is putting it on leather for a more casual look!
