Known for his statement jewelry,this too, is a perfect example of what you'll get from this designer.Putting the same amount of love & time into the frame that goes into his jewelry,this is designed with 2 of Federico's favorite combinations of materials,Pearls & Amethyst.
Designed with the 'woman in mind' this is made with a serious feminine feel that's given to the overall look.Bezel set atop of heavy gauge sterling (Maybe 8 gauge?) he took the beauty of fresh water pearls & then alternated the pattern with amethyst throughout it's entirety..There are 8 round floral pearl clusters that break up the pattern by placing 3 at the top & bottom & one to the right & left of the frame.This floral cluster gives a tad more width to the frame..Looking like a 'crown' for the frame,are the irregular shaped & highly textured Japanese Biwa pearls that sit high at the top.On the top 3 round floral clusters sits in the middle, these gorgeous colored faceted amethyst that give off a tad of sparkle with movement!

The sterling frame is tooled by hand & has a scalloped perimeter on both the interior & exterior of the frame, which softens the shape.The wood backside slides up,(See photo 11) so if you want,you can take the mirror out & use this for your favorite photo instead! If you choose to go this route,there is no glass on the front so this is something you'll have to get..It is made for a table top only & is not meant to be hung.
