THE NECKLACE:

This is a elegantly designed necklace where Federico took the drop dead beauty of all naturally formed-"conjoined twin pearls" & then paired them with a vintage Chinese Jade pendant that's been in his collection for quite some time. They compliment each other so well, as if the pearls were waiting for this particular pendant to come along & or vise versa!

These 'gems of the waters" come in so many fascinating shapes & sizes,but none are like "Conjoined Twin Pearls"! These are a very rare & highly unique pearl, for the fact that they start forming as two separate pearls and then they fuse together, which ends up doubling their size & beauty! If you zoom in on the photos, you can even see how they kind of look like fat little snowmen!

Because there are 2 pearls in one, makes them nice & chunky & by doing 2 strands, you really get this heavy load of pearls! If you're like me where you can never wear enough pearls, then these may get your heart to pumping faster & leave you ecstatic!

THE JADE PENDANT:

This part is vintage & is all hand carved & is made with conjoining Dragon's at the top part.. Where their mouth is opened,is where it's connected to the double strand of pearls. In China, Dragon's signify "Good Luck-Strength & Health"..It is also the fifth animal in the Chinese zodiac..There are 2 symbols that are inscribed toward the bottom middle portion ,but after doing research, I found absolutely nothing!.One looks like wording in Chinese & the other looks like a vessel of some kind..(See photo 5)

THE PEARL CLASP CLOSURE:

The sterling box clasp has an elegant touch to it & has a "Biwa Pearl" bezel set atop of it. You can find this pearl in many of Federico's pearl pieces & is one of the more 'textured' pearls out there. This has a ‘wearable length’ of 28”,so for many, you could probably just slip this over the head!
