A PERSONAL WORD:
Having been working with Federico now for quite some time now, I want to mention that most know him only for his head turning turquoise jewelry, as well as for his beautifully designed romantic Oaxacan jewelry that is signature to his Oaxaca birthplace.. But little do most know, that he’s actually quite known for creating a wide array of styles where no gemstone is excluded from his collection.

Federico is one that likes to step out of the box that will go from using baroque pearls, to using citrine, to onyx, to using the beauty of the abalone shell, vintage crystals, turquoise, Italian coral, garnets, peridot & the list goes on! (See my vast collection by putting in his name in the search bar when on my front page!) But it's not always about the stones he uses, as much as it is about those incredible & very POWERFUL designs that those stones/gems go into! These are a good example of what I'm referring to..

THE EARRINGS:
These elegantly long 4" long earrings are made in a 3 tier movable style, where the center cuts of Abalone dictate the shape of each tier. Using the square shaped cut for the top tier & then using the round cuts of abalone for the 2nd & 3rd tier, these are then framed by a halo cluster of oval cuts of real genuine faceted citrine that have some amazing facets to each!! Carefully arranged, the facets in each cut of citrine, have a “Table Cut” flat surface on the top that actually play specific roles in a gem's optical performance. Because of these being cut by a real pro who knows what they’re doing, the facets not only create beautiful patterns on the gem, but they also help them to shine & sparkle in movement & light!!

They have a contemporary vibe & are very sophisticated & glamorous in style. Everything is placed atop of a mirror polish finished sterling & are designed in a clip on style. (This was a wise choice since there's quite a bit of weight in these!)

These would make a lasting impression at any elegant event when you make an entrance with these on!!! I think some may even be at a loss for words when they see these!!! But don’t feel limited as to what time you wear them, just be true to who you are & if you feel like wearing them in the day, I say go for it! I know I would wear these day or night! They would also be the perfect earring for any kind of stage entertainer, black tie events, etc. But most of all, when you want to express your fine tastes, that expresses who you are!
