THE ARTIST:
Navajo artisan La Rose Ganadonegro is a wonderful Navajo artist who lives right in the heart of the New Mexico Navajo Reservation in the town of Crown Point.(Between Albuquerque & Gallup)
What I personally love about La Rose, is her workmanship that is truly impressive,it's meticulous & she has a strong sense for form & balance, where everything is made with a serious 'eye for perfection! You will witness the 36 years she's put in,when you own anything made by her!

THE PENDANT:
This is made with a colorful (and very cheerful!) array of generous cuts of stone & shell that in no way, would be considered skimpy, nor dainty in size.Because of their size & well balanced cluster lay out, helped to create a pendant that will be highly noticeable! Paired with Lapis & vibrant blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise is a palette of 3 different colors that come from the Spiny Oyster shell..The horizontally laid oval center is an orange/yellow color that is the 'highest in demand' color from the shell, while the 5 shell cluster at the bottom, come in more of deeper orange/red & the deepest dark purple. They are displayed on sheet sterling that has a contemporary mirror polished finish & all are premium quality's!
*****************
THE BALE:
Made with a corrugated bale that is nice & large,so this opening will work with a good size diameter bead, but a small would work just as well.It has a 3/4" opening so it will comfortably fit a bead size no larger than a 18 mm..You want the pendant to “move & breathe” on the strand(s),so you don't want anything larger than that.
I find that these larger size pendants, look better If you drop them AWAY from the neck,(22" & longer) so something long, actually balances it out.It will also look better a bigger bead to compensate for it's size...

THE EARRINGS:
Designed in a 2-stone classic drop, these are made with where the sole focus is on the materials, rather than a lot of sterling work! Hand picked with exact measurements, gives them their uniform look & are made with some 'choice' cuts of Lapis & the vibrant orange part of the shell..These are made in a contemporary, traditional Navajo style design. They have a simple statement, but will be highly noticeable,no matter how long, how short, how blonde or brunette hair you have!!! They are lively in color!
You can easily break up the set & can pull from any of these colors to pair with other jewelry pieces.(Bracelets,rings,turquoise/lapis or spiny oyster strand necklaces)

I am not a professional photographer, but I do try to do my best at giving you accuracy in color. Even though this set is vivid & vibrant, when photographing oranges, they (or warmer toned pieces) can come up more vibrant & seriously saturated,so please take this into consideration.(I had to actually take the saturation down a bit!) Please go through all photos to see any variation.
