Laid precisely on a hand cut out oxidized base sterling, are these unique marquise cuts of PREMIUM-top quality Sicilian coral that are uniform in color & are a red-red color (as opposed to red/orange or pink/red) The cuts range from smaller marquise cuts on the top 1/2 of the hoop & on the bottom 1/2, they get larger..The 3-5/8" round hoop is anchored from a beautiful cluster & has a large cross dangling in the center.

They have a GENEROUS amount of both coral & sterling, so making these into a post earring was totally out of the question!!These weigh more than some necklaces & or even cuffs I have in stock,so making them in a clip on, was the smartest way to go!

This Coral is from "Old Stock" since Coral is now on the rare list & can no longer be fished, nor brought in the USA.(These reasons are reflected in the price)Because of supply, buyers are grabbing all they can for these reasons.. Coral has gotten so ridiculously expensive, which makes it unaffordable for many artists to even consider buying and especially for the premium grades. In the last few years, Coral's cost has skyrocketed up to 500% & compared to a few years ago when it was at about $250 a gram, it is now over $1000 a gram & the less availability, the higher the price will increase & will never be the price tomorrow, as it is today.
