THE EARRINGS:
These ultra feminine, beyond beautiful picturesque Oaxaca earrings seem to emulate a painting, but instead of brushes & a canvas, these are done in a metal form, that depict the serene beauty of "Palomas y Flores" (Doves and flowers). I have carried Oaxaca filigree/Dove jewelry for quite a few years & even though I admire each & every design I've carried or do carry, I have to admit that these are absolutely breathtaking pieces of "Art" that have my heart fluttering! They are THAT beautiful!!

Anchored from a 'flower within a flower' design are a pair of Palomas which add a serious romantic feeling to the earrings. The real focus however, is what looks like a filigree rectangular shaped window frame as if one is viewing from the inside looking out, as the Doves smell the fragrance of the flowers..

Everything that went into these are artisan hand made,from all the cutting,shaping, then stamping all the detail you see with in the Palomas that give them their realistic definition, to the serrated filigree wire & then perfectly shaping each of the triangular shaped filigree that form the frame.,This frame is used for the dangles to hold onto. The pearls & coral are hand sewn with fine wire & then tied off on the backside.

These are a mirror facing earring where there's an actual right-left side,so the doves should be facing toward the face,(as shown in the photos) not away from the face. Even though these have some length,they are very comfortable on the ears..You may not even realize that you have them on! (See weights below)
