I don't know about the rest of you, but I truly get excited when I see jewelry that makes me drool & wanna fall to my knees! Talk about an incredible looking earring! WOW! There is so much to be said about these & its not only that all eyes will be on you when you wear them, but they are HUGE & absolutely STUNNING on the ear! These are designed in a "Zuni" inspired cluster style earring, with quality cuts of vibrant blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise that are done in a lusciously long-DRAMATIC 4 tier length that seems to go on & on & on in the design! On the 1st 2 tiers,the earring is made with precisely matched tear drop/pear cuts & then on the 3rd tier(the widest) there are little square tile cuts that lay on the same sheet as the upward facing pear cuts. Having all the cuts match this precisely, contributes to their uniform appearance & how well this earring looks!

The beauty about Sleeping Beauty is for a fact that you don't get a variation of color like other mines offer,but rather having a very even saturation in color, which works well when an artist desires a uniform look & is looking for the color not to vary.. The blue that this mine produces can look unreal to some & that is if we're only used to seeing different tonalities of color in the turquoise or the brown/black matrix patterns like a lot of the Nevada mines produce.. But this is what makes Sleeping Beauty unique, since it's one of the only mines that doesn't produce,if any matrix. Unfortunately as of today,this mine is now closed & the price per carat for the better qualities has literally sky rocketed in price .

This earring not only has a lot of stones,but there's quite a bit of sterling in them, which contributes to the weight they have. I am speaking more so with the posts, since the clips would be easier on the lobes. This is your call however, since you know what you can or can't wear..(See weights below)
