ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Navajo artisan Carol Wylie is now in her 50's & has been making jewelry for over 25 years now..It is very obvious in her work,how 25 years has paid off & what you are going to get from her is perfection & extremely precise work,where it matters to her how the piece is made..She lives on the Navajo reservation in western New Mexico..I have carried many pieces by her over the years & there hasn't been a time where I've haven't been pleased!

I think Carol outdid herself with these! I mean, what's there not to love!! The color is fabulous,they're nice & long & made with all these chunky size oval cuts which really draws your eye to them!!
Hand picked for their size & evenly matched color,these are made with the color we love from this shell & there's a whole lot of it!! Designed with more of a contemporary edginess,these are designed in a whopping 6-tier length where Carol played with laying the cuts both horizontally & vertically for a different type of look.Done in a a simple bezel style so the focus zooms directly on the shell & design. The shell sits in a mirro polished finishing
They are super delicious & would be a great addition to any colorful(Orange?) wardrobe & or Spiny Oyster collection!!
Even though shell is light & hardly weighs anything,there is a good amount of sterling in these,so please pay attention to the weight before purchasing.

Please Note:
I am not a professional photographer, but I do try to do my best at giving you accuracy in color. Warmer toned pieces (Especially orange!) can come up more vibrant & seriously saturated,so please take this into consideration. So with these colors,I do very little color editing & actually have to bring down the saturation,since I want these to be as true of color in the photos, as in person.
To give you close up photos,pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. Close up's make the item look so large & then you get it in hand & you are shocked since the item is much smaller than how they looked in the photos..So to get an accurate idea of how big these are,please either check them out being worn to get a rough idea (photo 2 ) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements
