Contributing to their uniform appearance, are precisely matching in size, 4 mm round cuts of brightly colored Spiny Oyster shell that are vividly displayed in a heart pattern.
The 2-1/4" x 2-1/8" heart drop is anchored from a small 7/8" floral cluster top & what I love about this heart design in comparison to the others I have carried or do carry, is for the fact that there are beads of sterling that sit at the bottom & in between each cut, which extends the sterling platform they sit atop of & also create a scalloped border, which gives the overall look of the earring, a softer effect.
These offer a contemporary Santa Fe'an look & because of their contemporary ambiance, these can be worn in OR out of the southwest & with every imaginable wardrobe! They're perfect when you want to add a bit of color & want to turn a few heads!

For those who can't tolerate ANY weight on the ear, these then may be too heavy for you...But for those who love a striking earring & will tolerate any weight in order to get the look they're after, then they should be fine. I wear larger earrings & I personally think the weight is fine. But that's your call!
