ABOUT THE ARTIST:
In comparison to some 'veteran' Navajo metalsmith's, Geneva is a relatively young silversmith who learned the art of metalsmithing from her mother "Genevieve Apachito'..She is a New Mexico native who comes from Socorro,NM & continued being raised in Socorro county, in the town of Alamo,NM. Regardless of age or how long she has been creating jewelry,it’s the fact of how easy it comes to her, which is obvious in everything she makes.
THE EARRINGS:
Made in a "Cross within a Heart" design, these are made with evenly sized beads of sterling that surround the center cross. Even though these look like they might be simple to make, this style can be a tedious & time consuming process, when you figure that each of these beads were hand melted at precisely the same size so they can then be individually soldered atop of sheet sterling that has a oxidized finished frontside. The backside of the earrings have a contemporary mirror polished finishing. Makes a great gift ,from teens to adults!!!

*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try my hardest to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color,just so you're not shocked, nor disappointed when you get the piece. I find orange however is the toughest color to photograph to achieve an accurate-true coloring, since I don't want them to be too vibrant or any less vibrant! Photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (orange's and green's) can come up a little more vivid, so please take this into consideration & please go through all photos to see ANY variation.
To give you close up photos,pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. .So to get an accurate idea of how big these are,please either check them out being worn to get a rough idea (photos ) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
