Although New Mexico based Navajo Ronnie Willie calls To’hajiilee,NM his home,he presently resides in ABQ.NM.. Ronnie is just one of many of his family members who are all jewelry artists & all of them have made a name in the industry. Ronnie learned like many Navajo children do where just about everyone in the family makes jewelry & it's hard not to be an artist when that's your sole environment. All of the "Willies" have made a name for themselves in the industry & are known worldwide & knowing most of them,I would say Ronnie is one of the most known. Ronnie was the 1st artist who started making those heavy gauge cuffs that are fully beaded & that have crosses that lay atop & generally come with various colored stones ,which now many artists have copied...

Art runs through Ronnies blood & loves creating by being a sand painter,sand caster,Kachina carver,rock sculptor,wood carver,which most of these things he does more on the side, since his main focus is on silversmithing 5 out of 7 days a week.. He works in heavy gauge sterling & makes his own stamps that embellish his work. He is considered one of the best in present day jewelry & its a guarantee you will be getting traditional Navajo jewelry, with at times a contemporary edginess.

New Mexico proud! For those of you who reside in NM or just love our cultural & very artsy state, when you wear a cuff like this,it'll be pretty obvious about how you feel about NM & the Zia symbol that represents us..The Zia cross is New Mexico & New Mexico is the Zia! And anytime you see the Zia symbol,you automatically think "New Mexico"!

A gorgeous colored high domed cut of Kingman turquoise is showcased atop of a non-destructible-super heavy 10 gauge sterling shank that is fully tooled in it's entirety..One thing the artist has to have in order to stamp into this heavy of a gauge of metal, is muscles! And to do the design so accurately takes skill & excellent dexterity!! There are two Zia crosses on each side of the stone & filled in around the crosses are other stamps Ronnie decided to use.

The finishing is incredibly gorgeous & has been left oxidized with a 'matte' finishing. The great thing about this finishing is for the fact that you won't need to polish it!

This is masculine enough for a 'manly man' to wear,but will also show beautifully on a woman! It is made for a large 7-1/8" wrist size & the 1-1/4" gap helps if you're a little 'fleshy' & need a little wider gap to put your cuffs on. Cuff's are the ONLY bracelet that have to fit perfectly, so it helps to know your wrist size since this CAN'T be adjusted. .
