Navajo Guy Hoskie is no beginner in the jewelry industry & has been doing jewelry for 20 or more years now.He calls Window Rock AZ.his home,where he lives with a wife & 2 sons.He is apart of a group of modern day Navajo silversmith's that have all made a big name in today's Navajo jewelry..His inspirations & teachers are from people like the award winning "Sunshine" Reeves,as well as the Cadman's,Becenti's plus many others...

You will find a lot of similarities, where they all give the metal a very vintage finish,they all make heavy tooling apart of their art form,as well as using nothing but the finest top quality stones available to the market. Guy keeps his work "Old School",by staying very traditional in style,doing everything by hand & then giving the metal this wonderful "vintage revival" sort of look, as if it is aged.Never do you find his work with a shiny~contemporary finishing,but having a very identifiable Navajo look.. Guy is collectible.

DESCRIPTION:
The horizontally laid Lapis oval is set atop of a darkened oxidized shank that's so heavily tooled that there is hardly a bare spot on it!! It is obvious, it's stamped with the best of skilled hands. Stamping is a 'art' that not all can do at this level..It is that precise! The sterling is oxidized in all the right places & brings a "Chiaroscuro" glow to the metal,where the higher polished finish brings out the beauty of the darkened sterling & vise versa. The various sized sterling beads lay on both sides of the stone & act as a partial halo for the Lapis.

This is a weighty & super solid feeling cuff that's made with a gauge of sterling that is extremely durable & can last a life time..Llike "fine wine",this will only look better with age & wear!! It's a true keeper!!
