THE ARTIST:

Navajo/Zuni artist Al Jake is considered a highly respected veteran artisan whose work is high in demand throughout American & over the east & west oceans... Al has been at this now for decades, so he’s paid his dues & ranks in the industry as being one of the top..

Known for his impeccable eye for ‘form & balance’ as well as for his precise workmanship, where he uses only high grade stones, this is an artist that takes his work serious, so you will be owning only the ‘finest’ made Native American jewelry. His work is some of the cleanest, meticulous workmanship, no matter how long it takes to make..

Being a big fan for just about anything he makes, I have carried his work for years now & I can personally say that I have never, ever witnessed a bad piece of jewelry that has his name attached!

WRIST SIZE: This is made for a average sized wrist and for a wrist that doesn’t need a large gap opening...Having a 1-1/8" gap opening, the gap has as much to do with a cuff properly fitting, as the ‘interior’ measurement has to. The importance of the right size gap, is so that it goes over the arm comfortably. This gap size will not work if you have a meatier/fleshy arm, so the bigger the arm, the wider the gap should be. The skinnier your arm is, then you want to go with a smaller gap opening. To help in fitting, you can take a cuff that you already own & starting on the 1” mark on the paper tape (or ruler), you want to then see, how far over the gap measures.

Cuff's are one of the only bracelets that HAVE to fit properly, so it's of extreme importance that you know your wrist size before purchasing. If you're unsure, please click: How To Fit A Cuff" I am an email away, so don't hesitate in getting in touch with me if you need!. You can also pull out a cuff that fits you well & compare it to my measurements.

PRICING IS BASED ON:

Artist, artist reputation, sterling cost, the artist’s time & work, turquoise quality, the cost per carat for natural, higher grade turquoise (As opposed to treated), the amount of carats are all reflected in price.

*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color, just so you're not shocked, nor disappointed when you get the piece. I find photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (orange, green) can come up a little more vivid than other colors, so please take this into consideration.
