THE BRACELET

This phenomenally made bracelet was made with time consuming techniques that reveal the extraordinary skills of a true artist.(And I emphasize the word "Extraordinary"!) Made by one of Federico's incredible staff artisans who specializes in some of the best lapidary work (stone cutting) you'll ever come across, as well as the tedious work of knowing the art of mosaic inlaying..These 2 things take skill & cannot be learned overnight, nor in a matter of month's, but rather taking years to be at this level of workmanship. To do these artforms takes a good eye, steady hands & a mathematical brain to do them.

Designed with 8 small little turquoise Butterflies, where each butterfly was completely made by hand.. Their wings started from a larger slab of Sleeping Beauty turquoise & cut down to size & then one by one have been chiseled to accentuate their wing pattern.. Their wings are then elegantly beveled, which give each of these 4 wing sections their graceful lines & smooth appearance. The abdomen,eyes & the antennas are designed in a Zuni Pueblo style of inlay, where they are channel mosaic inlaid in an alternating pattern of turquoise, red-orange Spiny Oyster shell & black Onyx. Each butterfly is placed atop of a mirror polish finished sterling that sit in a secure bezel..

****Link bracelets are not meant to fit tightly against the wrist,but rather should have a little movement. As is, this is made for a larger wrist & should accommodate a 7" to a 7-3/4" wrist.. However, this can be adjusted (by us) if your wrist is smaller by taking one butterfly out which would bring it down to a 7" length & should then fit a 6" to a 6-3/4" medium sized wrist and by taking 2 panels out, would bring this down to a 6",which will then fit a tinier-small boned wrist. This would have to be sent out in order to shorten & should take a couple weeks to complete.(give or take) ***

This bracelet is apart of a matching set & If you zoom in on the 12th photo,you'll see the matching earrings & necklace! I will be listing this same set in green Carico Lake turquoise& have 2 variations of the Carico in the link bracelets, where one matches the necklace perfectly & the other bracelet has Sleeping Beauty turquoise in the abdomen & antennas..(See very last photo)
