Navajo Sampson Werito resides on the Navajo reservation in the town of Thoreau, NM,which is close to Gallup & is a 'veteran silversmith who's been at it for decades.He specializes in making these great ranger sets & this is one of the best looking ones I have carried...Honestly,it's because of all those cuts of Lapis & how well they look & where they are placed while they sit upon the polished sterling..All these cuts of Lapis are HAND CUT by Sampson,which isn't the easiest since Lapis is so dense! This one really some serious presence to it & the workmanship is beyond clean! 

Ranger sets are a great way to go when you don't want the buckle to be 'wearing you',but you 'wearing it'.Many times the buckles are so large that that's all you notice..These have statement,but on a smaller scale..And they're SUPER classy!! They generally say more with less & can be worn by man or woman..Both genders love them for their smaller size.

This is made in a traditional Navajo style,but yet has a very contemporary edginess.The 2 rectangular center pieces sit 3/4" higher than the base of the belt,so if you have a thicker belt,they will accommodate it.  Shown with a 1" width sample belt with snaps. 

This will go great with some ripped denim & a crisp white shirt,as it will a business suit!
