Navajo MASTER Artisan -DELBERT GORDON- Premium Green Royston Turquoise - Masculine- Man's 925 Ring -Size 12-1/2

$900.00

Delbert's work demands a higher price than most & it's pretty obvious why.Considered a veteran "Master Navajo Artist" that has been at this now for decades & is the artist that has taught & helped pave the careers for many of today's traditional Navajo Gallup jewelers that you find on the market..Delbert is the 'go-to" guy & the one they look up to when they need technique/inspiration.

Delbert's work is beyond extraordinary & stays true to his Navajo roots by staying undeniably, traditional. He is 'old school'for the fact that each & everything that goes into his intricate metal work is completely hand fabricated. He believes that good stamping is what helps to make a great piece & he takes inspiration from stamp patterned designs from the old masters of the past.

Jewelers that started back in the era he had,it was important to use only natural, premium stones for their jewelry & with so many mines now closed down,it's hard for someone who came out of that era to settle for anything less, especially when you have your name on it!

Delbert 1st hand picks his stones & then lets the stone dictate the design..He never knows what he is going to make until the stone starts to 'speak' to him & then builds around it with the heaviest gauge sterling & incorporating the most incredible ornate, embellished work.

**An example as to what dictates prices in jewelry.**

Turquoise is priced on few things…whether the turquoise is natural or treated, with natural being more valuable per carat & costly than treated. Then you look at price per carat for what that quality goes for & how many carats are used.

Remember turquoise is like a finger print, with no 2 being exactly the same & with that said, even though you can get turquoise from that same mine,it will be different from the next. This also contributes to the piece being "One of a Kind",since the same exact turquoise cannot be replaced!

What also dictates the price is the cost of the metal, the work & time that went into making the piece & lastly the designer whose name is on the item.

PLEASE READ TERMS BEFORE PURCHASING

**I am not a professional photographer, but I do try to do my best at giving you accuracy in color..Sometimes however, colors can vary, either lighter or darker, depending on settings, either on your end or mine..

To give you close up detail, pictures tend to look much more larger & 10 X's more magnified than in actuality.Close up's make the item look so large & then you get them in hand & you are shocked since they are much smaller than imagined. So to get a accurate idea of how big these are, please get a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.

Also, things you'll see in photos that look noticeable, are generally not in person.
