Navajo Artisan- "Mary Ellen Pease " ( Ronnie Willie's Mother) - Gorgeous Colored Kazakhstan (Golden Hills) Turquoise -Sterling Round FLORAL Ring- Size 7-3/4
MEET THE ARTIST:
You might say that Mary Ellen Pease is the matriarch of the "WILLIE" family & happens to be the mother of some of the most reputable Navajo silversmiths who have all made a name for themselves in the jewelry industry..Some of her children are Ronnie, Lonnie, Rudy, Juan, Melissa Willie & some of her grandchildren you may have heard of, are "Tawney, Cooper, Dakota & Shamenika Willie"..(All of these names can be found in my listings)
It was Lonnie however that taught everyone of his family members all they know, including Mary Ellen & then from there, they learned through trial & error".. You might say Lonnie is the "Maestro" of the family & what a blessing it is for the family to have someone that's so highly skilled as Lonnie,to have mentored them!

THE RING:
Using one of the most prettiest colors from this very popular & incredible mine, Mary showcased this cut in a floral display where she curved all the nipped wires in order to create the flower.Beading alternates between each of the small wires. The stone is a mesmerizing true periwinkle & has it's signature clay colored matrix. The color is heavily saturated & is more intense than many of the cuts we see throughout the internet! The face sits on a 1/2 round split shank & is not adjustable.(See last photo)

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, can tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. Close up's make the item look so large & then you get it in hand & you are shocked since the item is much smaller than how they looked in the photos..So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please zoom in on the photos where you can see it on the finger, or you can do is pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
I am not a professional photographer, but I do try to do my best at giving you accuracy in color.
