ABOUT BETTY TOM (AKA: BEA)

Known for her traditional Navajo cluster work, Navajo artisan Betty Tom was born & raised on the Navajo reservation in the town of in Thoreau, NM. Bea started silversmithing after high school & like most Navajo children, she learned by watching family members & especially her father. Bea is a mother of three and loving grandmother of four and while still residing in Thoreau, she continues to provide us with her highly collectible turquoise and silver jewelry & is an artist who is highly sought after and asked for by name!

THE RING:

This was made with not only an extremely eye catching size, but with some of the most gorgeous & highly vivid blue "Sonoran Rose" turquoise..With the smaller outer oval clusters, one can think they could be Sleeping Beauty turquoise & that's based on their vivid color & the lack of matrix.

The ring is made with a 'repeated design', where the top & bottom design of the ring are the same & what divides the 2,is a huge oval cut that is laid horizontally. This middle cut is framed by beading which really adds to the design. The stones sit in a 'scallop' shaped bezel, which softens the design & gives the overall look of the ring a different sort of look that a straight bezel just doesn't offer! The shank is hand tooled & has little 1/4 moon appliques directly outside the face of the ring.

If you love your jewelry to speak(If not scream!!) then no doubt, you can't help but fall in love with this colossal sized beauty! Guaranteed, you will be stopped left & right when you wear this one, as well as getting a ton of great compliments!
