ABOUT LARRY COOLEY TURQUOISE:

Many of you that follow me for my incredible Federico collection,may have heard the name Larry Cooley.The late Larry Cooley was known in the industry as the ‘go-to' turquoise guy’ that many artists would get all their best/their highest quality turquoise from,so they then would use them for their own jewelry designs...Larry was known for having such a vast collection of high grade/gem quality/premium turquoise out of most in the industry,with much of his collection being mined some 60+ years ago when all the mines were still opened & before they started treating..His collection not only comes natural,but being he knew what separates premium turquoise as opposed to junk turquoise,he didn't collect anything less than the best that was ever mined!

After Larry's passing,Federico was fortunate enough to get Larry's 'limited collection' & put these stones into some of his most incredibly designed pieces you'll ever see & once they're used up,they're gone..(See my Federico necklace,earrings,bracelet listings) Larry had a big reputation for his turquoise & all you had to do was say "Larry Cooley Turquoise" & that alone, spoke volume.

THE RING: Mouthwatering & deliciously HUGE,this MASSIVE- OVER THE TOP" (And then some!!) ring is made with a "sampler" pick of some of the most gorgeous Nevada turquoise! There is nothing more magnetizing to the soul than the richness & depth in color than what Nevada mines produce! There are some choice cuts of both blue AND green, blue/green,with many having lots of earthy brown matrix that are signature to these mines .The colors are incredibly hypnotic in this & they did an amazing job at picking out some of THE prettiest!

This ring is SO "Federico Colossal" & for some,might just cover up much or all of your finger, it is that HUGE!! Rarely do you see dainty jewelry with anything baring this man's name & we that love our jewelry to "speak" & love to be able to express who we are through our jewelry,is one of the reasons why his jewelry is so much in demand!

Surrounding the over 2" center cut of Pilot Mountain is a cluster halo of 17 various colored rocks of different shapes & sizes.Each cut is bigger than what some where in a single setting! Each stone has it's own wonderful finger print character.
The stones are set atop of a hefty amount of sterling & weighs more than many cuffs! (see weight below) The shank is done in a adjustable bypass style that has light stamp work & is presently set at a size 9-1/2 and because of the bypass shank,makes it adjustable. I find that it's easier to go up in size,than to go down in size,so if you need me to go up a few sizes for you,(No more than) please let me know at the time of purchasing!!
