AMAZING CHARACTER! Traditionally Made-One of a Kind-Morenci Turquoise with PYRITE-Sterling Ring by Native American Artisan Albert Jake-Sz.7
Native artist Albert Jake never seems to fail at giving us his beautifully made jewelry that always has THE best & most AMAZING looking stones with over the top character!! Made with an undeniable Navajo edginess, Al displayed this stone as if it's sitting on a pedestal, while it steals the spotlight! This fabulous natural cut of Morenci has all the signature character that we love from this Arizonan mine, from it's incredible colored blues to it's pyrite markings..This is literally a "One of a Kind" cut, where no 2 are the same & there's not another like it! This is one of those rings where you can identify it being yours simply because of it's unique character!
The sterling work was dictated by the shape of the stone & because the stone is more of a 'free form' cut, (Not having a specific shape) the design then sits as balanced as can be following the stones shape. The face of the ring has sterling beads that alternate with his hand made 1/4 moon appliqué & little star conchos, which then give it the traditional Navajo look it has. The face sits atop one of Al's completely hand made shanks that gets wider as it splits nears the face, to accommodate the faces width.(See photos 6 & 7)
If you love your turquoise to "Speak" ,then this one SCREAMS!!
