ABOUT AUTHENTIC NAVAJO PEARLS:

On today's market there are oxidized sterling beaded necklaces that people call “Navajo Pearls” & are nothing but a machine made oxidized sterling bead & then there are ones that are made entirely by the hands of Navajo silversmiths.These are the latter & what would be called "AUTHENTIC" Navajo Pearl Bench Bead "Pearls".. "Real" Navajo Pearls take on an extremely labor intensive lengthy process & are much more valuable because of the time that goes into making them & are 'artisan made' rather than by machine..One way to tell the difference is,Authentic Navajo Pearls are validated by the beads not having quite the same exact millimeter size (See last Photos) ,you can also see it in the seams,as well as by'eye'.

Navajo Sandra Zambrano is the daughter of Michelle Jameson who also is a master at making Navajo Pearls herself & taught Sandra the art of making Navajo Pearls.. Sandra is a fairly young artist who pours her heart & soul into making each of her beads one by one!

DESCRIPTION:

Sandra makes these bead by bead & by cutting,drilling each hole,hand finishing them & then buffs the seams of each one down so you don't see a line of demarcation where the two~1/2 beads meet.These are left with a super heavy dose of oxidation,which gives them a phenomenal look & also which gives them their true Santa Fe appeal.. So there will be no need to pull the polishing rag out with these! They are deliberately left completely darkened,with just a tiny sliver of silver showing,which is where the two half's are joined together.

Made in a long 28" length that are so appealing when worn alone,but also works great when you got that large size pendant that is so large & looks better when dropped away from the neck! To achieve that Santa Fe Style,you can pile on others of different length's,different millimeters! 
If I can suggest that if you pair them with a pendant,they look better with a pendant with the same finishing.I also carry other length's,millimeter's of Sandra's.(See listings)
