Reticulation is a process that gives the metal a texture.The jeweler has to be skilled at this technique,since lots of heat is used to create the piece.It's a a process where the metal is repeatedly heated and quenched and pickled over & over..The technique of reticulation is a one of a kind process & you never know what’s going to happen and what happens, can never be repeated..Each piece is like a fingerprint & has it's own identity.No two pieces of reticulation are the same and even within the same piece, a pattern can be very regular, but will never have a true repeated design.This technique is extremely time consuming & takes knowledge & skill to achieve the final result!

What you get with reticulated jewelry is a fabulous texture & the metallic finish seems to make the sterling stand out like nothing you've seen before!

When I look at this,the design can’t help but remind me of what the “Mayan’s” might have worn in the way it is patterned & the way it lays along the neckline..Its very noble & regal & can make you feel like a million bucks,while making you feel pretty darn glamorous!

Made with a contemporary edginess of gleaming,glistening,shimmery metallic sterling that looks like pure liquid silver!! The main part of the design consists of long tear drop/rectangular shapes that are all connected in one section & stay stationary together…It is then connected by “O”rings going up the neck of “U” shape panels & because of the jump ring connectors makes it fold for storage or travel..Each section has a polished finished bezel border that has been hand hammered,so when the light hits it there is a ton of additional sparkle.

This feels incredible against the skin because of the flat backside. It seems to adjust to the curvature of the body of the person who wears it & is one of those necklaces that is not too small,nor is it too large & heavy that you can’t wait to take off!
