It's showy necklace's like this, as to why elite movie stars, models, performers seek Federico out, simply because they know he's about the only designer that makes jewelry that commands attention, jewelry that's made with an upscale sophistication, jewelry designs that are bold, powerful & showy & jewelry designs where they know the spotlight is going to be placed directly on them. More times than not, his jewelry is made on a grandeur scale of design & this necklace is the perfect example of what I'm referring to.

This is made for the woman who loves to make her grand entrance & calling it a "regal showpiece" ,I have to say, is an understatement..It has an overwhelming amount of pearls & is designed with a total amount of 43 vertical panels, with 11 of those panels in the front that are more on the chunky side since the pearls are larger. The necklace covers the whole upper chest & because the panels are so generous in size & fit close together,all you see is this massive amount of pearls!

The pearls have a bluish tone, along with having pink & green undertones. They are bezel set in a hefty amount of sterling,so it does have some weight to it. (Over 3/4 pound!!)

The closure is made of a big round cluster of Sleeping Beauty turquoise with chunk of Mother of Pearl in the center & this is where the hidden clasp is. This closure is unique to Federico & what you do is push down on the turquoise cabochons & slide the 'tongue' clasp out. When it's closed ,it just looks like a large round cluster, so no one actually sees the closure.(See photos) The 3 pearl dangles add such a sweet touch to the design!
