TURQUOISE PROVENANCE:
All these cuts came from the late "LARRY COOLEY'S" turquoise collection, who was a turquoise vendor that sold to designers when they wanted to buy premium grade turquoise cuts for their designs. After Larry's passing, everyone wanted dibs on his whole incredible collection, but because of Federico's long time connection with Larry & Larry's family, he was fortunate to purchase this 'once in a lifetime' limited & very pricy collection(These reasons are reflected in price) So once these stones are used up, they're gone! THE EARRINGS:
Fabulously long & extremely elegant on the ears, these beautifully designed earrings have a color that jumps out & literally pulls you in! The unimaginable-staggering color is from none other than the Sleeping Beauty turquoise mine, that produced some of the most bluest of blue turquoise & happens to be a top choice for artists when they don't want color variation & want a more uniform color throughout. This mine in not only unique for it's signature, vibrant-over the top color, but unique for the fact that it lacks the 'matrix' character that other mines produce.. Because of this matrix omission, many think that it's "fake", which is far from the truth! This is literally the color when it comes out of the mine and is all cut & polished!! The mine closed sometime back, which only has made this particular turquoise increase in price & especially when we're talking the quality, as what's in these..

They are made with 3 different cuts(See "stone cuts" below) and anchored from the square shape cluster top is a continuous pattern of tear drop cuts with a tile cut sandwiched in between, in the large cluster drop.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING:
Although we don't get any idea of the weight of something by looking at the photos, these do have a generous portion of both sterling and stone, so it helps to know what weight earring works best for you. These do have some weight to them,so if you can't stand any weight on your ears,then these may be too heavy..But if you're a 'veteran' wearer who doesn't mind a heavier earring,as long as they give you the look you want, then they may be fine. But it does help to know what you can tolerate and what you cannot. I do not refund for this reason.
