Designed in a traditional Zuni Pueblo style,there is nothing more beautiful than a long & sexy turquoise cluster earring! And especially in a clip style! For those who love a long & large earring, sometimes find it hard to get in a clip style & with this designer,he gives us the same great statement style in clips, as he does in post!
The Sleeping Beauty mine produces some of the most dynamite, vivid blues imaginable which is characteristic to this mine & since closing down a few years back has only made the price of the 'good quality' stuff go up.
It lacks the matrix that you find known to the other mines & because it the color saturation doesn't vary,makes it work well when designers are doing cluster work,since it has a uniform coloring throughout.
These are made in a CLIP style & are designed in a 6 Tier length (Tops included) & are made with 2 sizes of round cuts & 2 sizes of tear drop cuts..Each tier is connected by "O" rings for movement.The dangles are nice & long & have the larger tear drop cuts accenting the bottoms!
The large oval tops look to be from the Royston mine & are more of a teal color.

Turquoise is priced on few things…whether the turquoise is natural or treated,with natural being more valuable per carat than treated.Then you look at price per carat for what that quality goes for,how many carats are used.
Remember turquoise is like a finger print,with no 2 being exactly the same & with that said,even though you can get turquoise from that same mine,it will be different from the next.What also dictates the price, is whether the stones can be replaced,as well as the cost of the metal,the work & time that went into making the piece & lastly,the designer whose name is on them.
